A petition by Real Madrid fans demanding the departure of French striker Kylian Mbappe from the Madrid club has garnered 70 million signatures. As of now, over 70.4 million people have signed the petition, which was created on May 5.

The fans’ discontent with Mbappe stems from reported discord within the team. According to L’Equipe, some players are unhappy with the privileges granted to the Frenchman, including his “disrespectful attitude toward staff during training or arriving 40 minutes late,” as well as a trip to Sardinia with actress Esther Expósito in the midst of the season, when he was supposed to be recovering from a hamstring injury.

Mbappe has been playing for Real Madrid since 2024. In the current season, the 27-year-old has scored 41 goals in 41 matches for the Madrid club.
