Referee Alejandro Hernández Hernández did not award a penalty.
“That wasn’t a penalty. There was a hit to the nose, but the Barcelona player didn’t see his opponent,” Shalimov said on the program “All for the Match!” on Match TV.
Barcelona has 91 points after 35 matches, with second-place Real Madrid trailing by 14 points. This marks Barcelona’s 29th La Liga title, while Real Madrid has 36.
